Deep Cuts - Exposition personnelle de Rhonda Barrett
In the dictionary, bizarre is listed as strikingly out of the ordinary: a person, place or thing which is
odd, extravagant, or eccentric in style or mode. It involves sensational contrasts or incongruities. Surrealism is defined as a movement that explores the unconscious mind, dreams, and irrationality through art and literature. It can get wild when our imagination is our only limit. So, what does a bazaar, or large market, look like when you add a bizarre or surreal twist to it. What kind of items would be sold there? Maybe you'll see work that depicts the marketplace, maybe it's an item from this strange place. Maybe the artists have invented a new product and the best place to introduce it to the marketplace is at the Bizarre Bazaar.

An opening reception is planned for September 07, 6-8pm to open this marketplace full of surreal works.
