In my hand-cut collages, I construct a new world with a random assortment of print media, book clippings, and items bound for the landfill. My collage making process starts with discovering several odd pieces, then meticulously arranging them to create balance by using conventional collage techniques. The dynamics of each collage epitomize a matter of controlled chaos. Focusing on angles, colours, and lines, the collage content lay in the seam of surrealism and ridiculousness. I continually find inspiration from architecture, nature, product packaging, and traveling. I encourage the observer to decipher what is happening in each creation.
